Meal Planning

Dear Busy Mom,

You really can do this. You can stop worrying about what to make for dinner each night. You can have a meal done in 30 minutes or less. You can learn how to plan your meals with the help of your family.  You can always have a shopping list ready AND reduce your family grocery bill. You can eat out less and eliminate those costly last-minute trips to the grocery store and unhealthy impulse buys. You can feed a family of four to six dinner for about $100 a week, and spend quality time with your kids!

If you’re like me, you’re a busy mom, and… you’re juggling work schedules, school schedules, roles, kids, household chores—the list goes on. And if you’re like I was, what to make for dinner is a constant struggle. Maybe it feels like you’re in a dinnertime re-run, always making the same dishes over and over again. It feels like you can’t get unstuck. And maybe you’ve tried other recipe books that were hard to follow and ended in with not-so-hot results.

Noel’s Kitchen Tips is a creative method of cooking and meal planning for busy moms from Noel Chapman helping busy moms “bring back” the family dinner while saving valuable time, money and your sanity. I am a firm believer when it comes to organizing and meal planning.

Why  do I meal plan?

As a working mom, it gives me more time to enjoy my family without the stress of feeling rushed for time and keeps my grocery bills down. Before I started meal planning, I was literally rushing home from the office in traffic just to get try and get home at a decent hour to feed my family. It became so frustrating that I knew there had to be a easier way. Menu planning may not be for everyone, but it works best for my family. If you’ve thought about it and were afraid to try it or thought it wouldn’t work for your family, all I can say is give it a try and see if it not only helps you get a bit more organized in the kitchen but allows you more quality time with your family. Meal Planning has been working for me and it is my goal to share with other working moms, busy moms or stay-at-home moms and their families how to create wonderful family meal times and have more quality time for your family by meal planning.
