Inside Noel’s Kitchen

Noel Chapman of Noel’s Kitchen Tips

Welcome and thank you for stopping by our kitchen. Here’s a little introduction about myself. First and foremost is my family. I have four beautiful children and a supportive husband. My husband and I began collecting many antiques and treasures along the years and we found ourselves with too many types of collections and thought it was time to share. We started a business buying and selling antiques.

In November 2006, we moved our treasure trove to Penn Valley, CA. which was known in the early days as the “pantry of the Northern Mines.”  We moved our home based business Grumpy Treasures with us.  My husband continues with our antique business.

I began to focus more on teaching others in the kitchen. Growing up, I was always in the kitchen and learned a few tricks on cooking by helping and watching my grandmother in the kitchen.  One fond memory I have is our whole family gathering for Sunday dinners.

A busy Mom myself, my expertise comes from both my professional background and my experiences. As a kitchen consultant for a nationally known cooking tool company, I demonstrate cooking skills and sell cooking tools at home parties when I am not blogging and networking on the internet. Noel’s Kitchen Tips website teaches family mealtime solutions on the internet.  I teach and present live cooking demos in homes, bringing Noel’s Kitchen to life every night. So feel free to roam around the kitchen and make yourself at home.

Many of the recipes are old family recipes that I remember, many I make up, and many of them are those I’ve pulled from cookbooks, magazines and newspaper clippings I’ve collected over the years and transformed into my own.  If I’ve pulled a recipe from another source, I try to attribute that source where I can (sometimes it’s hard when you only have a clipping.)

In the beginning of 2009, I joined in as a participant for the Share Our Strength campaign, created a team of bakers that consists of moms, dads, grandparents and local community business owners. Our team, Nevada County Bakers is dedicated to provide homemade irresistible bakery goods, gifts and treats that are perfect for any occasion. We are committed to helping Share Our Strength raise money to End Childhood Hunger in America and in our community. Proceeds from every purchase you make go to the Share Our Strength campaign and our local community schools.

NCTV Mission Possible Interview with Cheryl Noble

I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be able to teach families in the community how to use food and cooking as a means of performing a great community service

Eating out is expensive…..Eating with family is priceless!

Thanks so much for visiting Noel’s Kitchen.
