Hi there! Hope you all had a great 3-day holiday weekend with family and friends! We had a fun weekend starting with the rib cook off on Saturday enjoying some really good BBQ dishes which inspired me to make some of my own family favorites.

In the middle of this week, my schedule has two school function committee meetings along with a PTC meeting. Crazy I know, but a working mom can still balance it all with a little bit of planning. I’ve teamed up with my crock pot to make some tasty meals for my family and planned for some leftovers to create another great meal on our Friday Family Favorites night.
I’ll share all these easy family recipes with you this week…Yum! Hope you find a few good ideas.
My weekly meal plan and shopping list is completed and posted on our fridge:
Breakfast options:
Zucchini Bread, Banana Bread (recipes posting this week), Homemade Greek Yogurt, Green Smoothie, cereal, Homemade Granola, toast, eggs, and/or fresh fruit
Lunch options:
Sandwiches, Pizza Bites, Tortilla Rollups (aka “Prairie Sushi”), protein shakes, salad, fresh cut veggies and/or fruit
Suppers Your Family Will Love
Need ideas for your weekly meal plan? It’s time for another weekly menu. I enjoy menu planning because of the simplicity it provides for my life. It enables me to decrease my grocery shopping excursions to twice a month and it allows me to have more free time to focus on my family and home. For ideas in the weekly meal plan, we’ll be focusing on a variety of family meals. You’ll find the recipes on the weekly meal plan also available on my Recipe Index page with a grocery list included.
Dinner (recipes will post throughout the week)
Sunday: BBQ Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Corn
