Noels Kitchen Tips:What’s For Dinner Week of April 12-17, 2010
It feels really good to know that my weekly dinner menu is finished for the week. On Saturday, I had the opportunity to check out grocery prices at WinCo for the first time and purchased many grocery items at great affordable prices. On Sunday morning, I went through some of my recipes and planned my weekly meals. The Menus that Noel’s Kitchen Tips shares will show you how to make meals that are easy, delicious and fast and affordable, no matter how much-or how little-time you have.
WinCo offers 24 hour savings so you can shopping any time of day or night.
I was able to stock my pantry and work on preparing meals that I can freeze ahead and pull out when I’m ready to use them for dinner. Remember, it’s easy to freeze your meals. Your freezer’s versatile-use it often. Double a recipe and freeze half, store leftovers, make frozen dessert.
I’ll have the recipes with photos posted throughout the week. No matter what order you choose to make these meals your family is sure to love.
This week for dinner:
Monday: Chili Cornbread Bake (ingredients can be prepped the night before and refrigerated) Recipe to post later this evening with photos.
Tuesday: Tuesday Night Favorites: Lazy Weeknight Lasagna (using Pasta sauce made ahead of time and frozen in zip-loc bags, I’ll also prep on Monday night and put in the refrigerator until time to cook.)
Wednesday: Creamy Vegetable Beef Casserole
Thursday: Chicken Salad Sandwich and Tomato Soup
Friday: Friday Night Favorites; Hamburger Stroganoff
Saturday: Baked Chimichangas
Last night I made a Chicken Stir-Fry with Veggies for a simple Sunday Family Dinner.
As always, my quick and easy recipes for Busy Moms can be found on my website Noel’s Kitchen Tips.
