Restaurant Style Blender Salsa

Restaurant Style Blender Salsa

Whenever I walk into a Mexican Restaurant, I am just in aw of chips and salsa. That’s why I LOVE this Restaurant Style Blender Salsa!!

This salsa recipe brings me back to my childhood when we used to go to Pueblo Del Sol Mexican Restaurant. I would  love going there simply for their salsa. It was one of the best local Mexican restaurants  in town. And that’s why I love this recipe.

I don’t really know exactly what they put in their salsa but this one comes close to it in taste. The spiciness is perfect for our family because we love spicy foods. And I absolutely love the fact that it’s cheap to make and I always have the ingredients on hand in the pantry and the fridge.

NOTE: This is one of the recipes I shared in a previous FREE 7-Day Clean Eating Group .

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 medium white onion, chopped
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 whole jalapeno, seeded and chopped (leave seeds in if you like your salsa really hot and spicy)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • juice of 1 lemon(or lime will work too)
  • Himalayan salt, to taste

  1. Combine ingredients in the blender in the order listed. Puree until smooth (I do it for about 10 seconds), or you can leave a little chunky, if desired. Test seasonings to your desired taste.
  2. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

How do you make this Restaurant Style Blender Salsa easy?

This recipe really couldn’t be easier than it is. It takes about 10 to 15  minutes from start to finish if that, but having the right kitchen tools can really make your time in the kitchen more enjoyable. Over time, I’ve honed my collection so that they are perfect for my needs.

Here are the tools that I use for this Restaurant Style Blender Salsa recipe:

One of the kitchen appliances I use in making this recipe, is a high-speed blender.  It has helped me make some wonderful tasty dishes and even smoothies for my family. Believe me when I say it pays to have a good quality kitchen appliance in your kitchen. I have gone through many blenders to prove this.

Other salsa making tools I use almost every week:

  • rubber spatula – we don’t want to waste any salsa. Doesn’t scratch your appliances.
  • chef’s knife – preparing foods before using them in the blender puts less stress on your blender.
  • salsa serving bowls -these are really cute and colorful especially when we throw a party or get together with family.
