Staybridge Suites Hotel Anaheim Review

Family Hotels in Anaheim

Staybridge Suites

Here’s our family’s review!

We had such a blast during our Spring Break Vacation to Disneyland and our stay at the Staybridge Suites in Anaheim, California. It’s our family’s favorite hotel! We plan our annual family vacation to Disneyland and find that the Staybridge Suites is not only budget friendly but family friendly. I’ve just now had the time to start editing all the pictures we took to share. We loved it so much that I wanted to share it with you all.

Living in Northern California you would think that we get enough of the sunshine and not make such a big point of following it on vacation, but the opposite is true. For the most part, our entire family are sun worshipers. We also love our long weekends. Every year since 2011, we have planned an annual family vacation to Disneyland in sunny Southern California.  A majority of our trip is basically FREE. Yes I said FREE. I will share more posts on how we earn our trips to Disneyland and much more for FREE so check back soon.

The Hotel

Can I start off by saying that this hotel is in my opinion, again this is the friendliest family hotel you will ever stay at in Anaheim. I did a lot of research back in 2011 when we first started planning our vacation on budget. Searching for all the affordable hotels for families, the Staybridge Suites was at the top of the list.

At the Staybridge Suites, you can be guaranteed to go home with a million memories and a heart full of magic.

As you walk in the door, you already start to get that happy shiver in your bones feeling that you’re in the magical world of Disney.

We’ve made it a family tradition to take a picture with Mickey when we arrive at the hotel. I always love taking pictures of the kids in this same spot each time we visit to see how much they have grown.

As you walk through the hallways, there is lots of fun Disney decor.

The hotel offers a family social night 3 nights during the week where families staying at the hotel can mingle with other families in their big reception room. They serve appetizers and finger foods as well as have a soda machine, milk and juice bar and wine and beer bar for the grown ups. (the reception room pics below are from our trip in 2011)

You can simply just hang out and enjoy some relaxing time.

The Hotel Suite

The suite itself was perfect for us. Our room had one king bed and  in the kid’s room there were two double beds and the family room had an L-shaped pull out couch. The couch pulls out in the coolest way over into a twin/full sized bed.  If you get one of these rooms be sure to check it out. We had two bedrooms, two large bathrooms, a full kitchen, eating area, and family room.

The kitchen in our suite cut down our spending and allowed us to still have those home cooked meals. I even brought our crockpot.

At the Staybridge Suites, you have all the luxury of vacationing but still have the feeling of home right at your fingertips.

Relaxing Time

And after you’ve visited Disneyland for the day or if you spend an extra couple of days like we did, you can relax by the pool or in the hot tub pool.

The amenities

The hotel also has some great amenities. From in house shopping (in case you forget your toothbrush) to a restaurant in the hotel next door, and they even have a small gym and laundry facility downstairs on the first floor. They have everything you need right on site for a great vacation. They are even close by within a short driving distance to a mall and even a Target and a few grocery stores so you can stock up your kitchen while on your vacation.

We plan on going back next year in 2018 during Fall break to celebrate Halloween at Disneyland. We will definitely be staying at the Staybridge Suites again. It’s a great place to stay with your family, friendly atmosphere and close to many attractions. It’s even considered a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel.

Another perk of stay here is that you get a “magic hour”!

The magic hour is offered to those that purchase a 3-day park hopper and the hotel partners with the shuttle service to get you over to Disneyland at a special time where you are allowed into the parks an hour before the public.
