Monday Night Sloppy Joes

Monday Night Sloppy Joes

1 pound ground beef (ground turkey can be substituted)

1 medium onion, chopped

1/2 cup ketchup

1 Tablespoon brown sugar

1 Tablespoon vinegar

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain.

Add remaining ingredients, stirring until combined. Simmer on low heat for10-15 minutes or until mixture thickens. Serve on hamburger buns or Homemade Bread.

Recipe Notes: Sloppy Joe mixture is a great meal planning meal that can be made ahead of time and frozen. Brown and drain the beef and onion. Let cool, toss in a Ziploc freezer bag. Add remainder of ingredients, and freeze. When you’re ready to eat, thaw, reheat in a pan until it’s warmed up. Easy and Quick!
