Granola Bars-Home Baked Goodness

These granola bars turn out perfect! They are a great as a snack and very easy to make. Here’s a basic recipe that you can add other ingredients like sunflower seeds (omit the salt in recipe), dried fruit, almonds, or peanut butter. These days, I’m constantly making granola bars. It’s easy to mix up, and it disappears in the blink of an eye. My kids love it. And, no one has noticed that there are no boxed cereals or sugary snacks in the pantry. That’s a win in my book.Start your day off right with these simple granola bars!

Granola Bars


  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup light pre maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup natural cane sugar
  • 5/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Granola
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins


  1. In a saucepan over low heat, cook together the coconut oil, sugar, syrup and salt. Bring mixture just to a boil (soft ball stage). Add vanilla, cinnamon, granola and raisins. Spread evenly in an 8×8 pan. Cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
