Happy Monday! Are you busy getting ready for Thanksgiving? We have our turkey, it’s chillin’ in the fridge and all the fixins’ are in the pantry ready to go.
Every year Thanksgiving week is typically laid back for the first few days. I have the entire week off from the office and it’s a short school week. Mid-week, is Grandparents day and I’ll spend a little time at the school volunteering in the morning. Then later in the day, I’ll finish my prepping for our Thanksgiving day feast.
In previous years, I’ve always had enough for some tasty Thanksgiving leftovers. I’m also planning simple meals before and after Thanksgiving. I really don’t want lots of leftovers the beginning of this week as I’ll have plenty after Thanksgiving day.
Here’s our plan for the week.

Need ideas for your weekly meal plan? It’s time for another weekly menu. I enjoy menu planning because of the simplicity it provides for my life. It enables me to decrease my grocery shopping excursions to twice a month and it allows me to have more free time to focus on my family and home. For ideas in the weekly meal plan, we’ll be focusing on a variety of family meals. You’ll find the recipes on the weekly meal plan also available on my Recipe Index page with a grocery list included.
