Hi there! Hope you all had a good weekend with your family! I’m SO glad to have my weekly meal plan finished for the week. So now that summer is officially over for us, it’s really time to focus on creating weekly meal plans during the week where we don’t have to spend so much time in the kitchen and more time with the family. And with the first full week of school, it’s time to get back into a weekly school night routine. It just makes life so much easier. Don’t you agree? Here’s what’s on our menu for the week. We’re trying to eat somewhat healthy and add in a few new healthy meals for dinner. I’ve shared some of our breakfast and lunch ideas for the week as well. I’m going to try and get the kids to eat more healthy lunches too besides pizza roll ups. 🙂
My weekly meal plan and shopping list is completed and posted on our fridge:
Sandwiches, Tortilla Rollups (aka “Prairie Sushi”), protein shakes, pizza roll ups, salad, fresh cut veggies and/or fruit

Need ideas for your weekly meal plan? It’s time for another weekly menu. I enjoy menu planning because of the simplicity it provides for my life. It enables me to decrease my grocery shopping excursions to twice a month and it allows me to have more free time to focus on my family and home. For ideas in the weekly meal plan, we’ll be focusing on a variety of family meals. You’ll find the recipes on the weekly meal plan also available on my Recipe Index page with a grocery list included.

Sunday: BBQ Chicken Salad with Corn Salsa
Monday: Breakfast for Dinner!~ German Pancakes with Warm Cinnamon Apple Slices
Tuesday: Taco Macaroni and Cheese
Wednesday: Spicy Black Bean Burgers
Thursday: leftovers, salad and bread
Friday: Creamy Chicken Taquitos with beans and rice
Saturday: Chicken Pot Pie
