Mom’s Talk Monday~Cooking Naturally With Kashi

Today on Mom’s Talk Monday Q & A, I decided on sharing a topic about how moms have to make those healthy natural food choices when we meal plan and grocery shop. I’m often asked how I choose the right foods for my family.

As a mom, one of the choices I choose is to make meals using fresh organic foods whenever possible. I find myself using the most eggs when I cook  breakfast and make desserts…and we all know I love to be in the kitchen and my family loves eat dessert! 🙂  Since raising our chickens, I have learned how important it is to use organic and cage-free eggs no matter what you are making with eggs! We truly care about about our chickens, what we feed them and the eggs they produce.

As moms, we are always on the lookout at the grocery store for those good-for-you foods for our kids. It’s almost that time where we need to start thinking about packing school lunches. If we’re not making all of their lunches, then we need to choose the right snacks and foods from the grocery store. That’s why I like Kashi. Their products are natural, minimal processed and free of refined sugars, artificial additives and preservatives.

I enjoy learning new ideas when it comes to cooking and food and I love watching and hearing tips, tricks and the inside scoop from chefs all over the world – especially if they are showcasing fresh whole ingredients from local  farmers. In this yummy inspiring  and informative video from Kashi (lately they’ve been one of my favorite go-to brands for healthier cereals and convenience snacks) you can learn about how to inject more flavor and texture into your food, naturally. Kashi dreams of a world where everyone embraces natural health.

How do you make smart food  choices for your family?
