Daily Pantry Challenge Log 2012 #mealplanning #dinner #pantry

My pantry challenge has officially started. My pantry and freezer are stocked most likely for more than two weeks and I was able to earn $0.25 fuel rewards on Shell gas just from shopping at Save Mart. It benefits your grocery budget to grocery shop at grocery stores that give back to the customers.  I decided to keep track of how I’m using ingredients from the pantry to feed my family without the need to run to the grocery store or spend money going out to eat (something we hardly ever do.) Breakfast: Egg, Sausage and Cheese Pockets

Lunch: Small Portions of Chinese Chicken Salad

Dinner: Soft Tacos, Veggie Platter

Dinner: Burrito Casserole, Fresh Watermelon Slices

Lunch: Caesar Salad

Dinner: California Greek Pizza on Homemade Pizza Dough, Breadsticks and Salad

Breakfast: German Pancakes with berries and cream

Lunch: Italian Roll Ups

Dinner: Fiesta Rice, Leftover Burrito Casserole, Salad

Breakfast: Spinach Omelet

Lunch: Turkey Sandwich, veggies

Dinner: Rosemary Pork Roast, Rice Pilaf, Garden Salad

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Lunch: Salami, Crackers, Cheese, Hummus, Carrot Sticks

Dinner: Mac n Cheese, Green Beans

Breakfast: Spinach Omelet

Lunch: Chili Dogs, Veggie Dippers, Potato Chips

Dinner: Pot Roast, Corn on the Cob aka “Magic Corn”

Breakfast: Blueberry Cinnamon Bread

Lunch: Picnic Sandwiches, Carrots, Chips

Dinner: Hamburgers, Potato Fries

Aug 2

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Lunch: Snack Lunch (usually crackers, cheese and a couple slices of lunch meat and veggies), Mango Smoothie

Dinner: Basil, Bacon and Tomato Roll Ups
