Weekly Menu March 20-26, 2011

This has been the second consecutive week I’ve sat down to prepare the week’s menu using my home management notebook and I must say I’m pretty pleased with the results. Keeping my menu plans all in one spot, I can refer back to my previous ones and  incorporate some of them into the future meal plans more easily. I’ve incorporated some new dishes into the munu and transformed a few lunches into some fun unexpected treats for the kids. The weekly dinner menu is fast and easy as usual with a new dish to try out on Saturday. A good rule of thumb… Always try new recipes on the weekends. This week’s new one should be a huge hit with the family.


Oatmeal, apple slices
Egg Sausage McMuffins, Juice
Commuter’s Breakfast
Pancakes, blueberries and yogurt
Blender Breakfast
Waffle Iron Breakfast
Quick Scones


Chicken n Rice Burritos
Tuna Salad, Celery Sticks
Pita Sandwiches
Inside Out Sandwich
Banana Dog
Fresh Dip
Turkey Avacado Sandwiches


Slow Cooker Pinto Beans and Rice
Macaroni Cheese Bake
Crockpot Tuesday-Italian Beef Sandwiches
Stir Fry-Lemon Chicken, Rice, Broccoli
Tomato Soup, Salad, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Pizza Night
Try A New Recipe-Chili Chip Casserole
