I make homemade tea often and especially during the summer. Making your own tea is simple, affordable and taste good. During the winter months when the sun doesn’t shine too often, I make it with a teapot of boiling hot water and let the tea bags seep for about an hour. Remove the tea bags, and add a couple Tablespoons of sugar or honey, enough cold water to make 2 quarts, stir and chill in the refrigerator. I make regular tea during the winter months and during the summer, I’ll change it up a bit with Mango, Raspberry, Lemon, Peach or Strawberry flavored tea. Serve over ice cubes and sweeten to taste.
Some suggested flavorings: Crushed mint leaves, thin lemon slices, cinnamon stick or cloves
