My tip for today is to never stop trying to learn new ways to save money and time in the kitchen! If you cook one of my Make-Ahead Dishes in advance on a weekend, when you have a little extra time, there’s nothing left to do on a weeknight but pull it out of the fridge and heat it up.  And it’s delicious!  Learn from what works for other people … give it a try … you never know – you may find a new way to save a few bucks this week!

    I like to bake potatoes to make mashed potatoes and then use the skins for another meal of potato skins……rebaked with cheese, bacon……and I sometimes save the skins from boiled non-russet potatoes to form the “shell” for individual quiches……fiber!

  5. Sounds delicious! I would love the recipe for the pie shell to try. Great job on using one ingredient in a few different dishes for the week!
