Sunday Family Dinners
Few meals are quicker on the stove than stir-fries.
Chicken Stir-Fry With Veggies
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Oil
2 boneless Chicken breasts, cut into strips
2 Celery stalks, chopped
2 Carrots, cut into match stick pieces
1 Red Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
1 cup Broccoli, chopped
4 cups spaghetti noodles, cooked
Sauce:
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 Tablespoons Soy sauce
2 Teaspoons sugar
1/3 cup water
Sesame Oil
Directions:
Blend seasoning mix, soy sauce, sugar and water; set aside. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil; add chicken and stir-fry until browned. Add vegetables; stir-fry. Add noodles, seasoning mixture; Drizzle with sesame oil and stir-fry 1 minute or until thickened.
Recipe Notes: If desired, substitute snow peas, sliced mushrooms, onions or water chestnuts for any of the above vegetables. Frozen Oriental vegetables can be used instead of fresh.
