Daily Family Kitchen Inspiration: Soften Butter Quickly Without Melting It

A few different methods for speeding up the process of getting soft butter right from the fridge (without melting it):

Grate the butter into a bowl–comes down to room temperature faster; Microwave for a few seconds at a time–watch closely because you don’t want to zap it too long; Cut butter into squares and put them into a bowl, insert bowl in a pan of warm–not hot–water.

Daily Family Kitchen Inspiration: Be A Positive Role Model

Today’s Daily Family Kitchen Inspiration can also be a great Family Table Talk subject.

As parents, we are our children’s most powerful role-models.  We can help empower them by using positive self-talk  about ourselves and others.  Using positive words that reflect self-confidence, love, trust, and abundance to create our own reality is the best example we can give our children.  It is up to us to provide our children with the tools they can use to empower themselves and counteract the negative and self-limiting thoughts that bombard them on a daily basis.

Today I will make sure I have planned my time wisely and have left nothing out. I will take the time to eat healthy foods, manage my time at work, take time to relax and feed my energy level. I love myself by managing my time.
