Happy Monday Everyone! Did you have a good weekend? This past weekend (Sunday), our team Babes For Boobs participated for our second year in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Sacramento, CA. at the state capitol. As team leader, I welcomed some a great bunch of ladies to our team. There was an estimated 20,000 people expected to participate this year.  I read in the Sacramento Bee that the event raised almost $470,000 for breast cancer research and support programs and services for those fighting the disease.  Our team raised $570 and more is expected to roll in. Wahoo, way to go team!!!

And now for this week’s meal plan:

Yesterday’s weather was a bit cooler change in temp that what we’ve had for the past few weeks since the season started to change. Looking at the upcoming weather forecast, it seems fitting to add in some soups, chili, casseroles, burritos and stews to the weekly menu. Rain is in the forecast for the next few days starting with today and it’s cold and wet outside. Since we had such a busy weekend, I worked on my weekly meal plan this morning and came up with these ideas:

Need ideas for your weekly meal plan? It’s time for another weekly menu.  I enjoy menu planning because of  the simplicity it provides for my life. It enables me to decrease my grocery shopping excursions to twice a month and it allows me to  have more free time to focus on my family and home. For ideas in the weekly meal plan, we’ll be focusing on a variety of family meals. You’ll find the recipes on the weekly meal plan also available on my Recipe Index page with a grocery list included.
