This past weekend was so beautiful. We spent one day doing family events and saw our oldest son’s band The Dehlinger’s play. They did an amazing job of course and I’m a very proud momma. They will be playing this month on the 22nd in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge. They will be battling other bands for cash prizes and recording time. If you’re interested in hearing a great group of young musicians, send me an e-mail to Noel’s Kitchen for more information; tickets are $15.
On Sunday, we worked around the farm getting everything ready for planting. Two years ago, I planted a garden with some herbs and a few vegetables which produced a successful garden for us. With our little farm growing this year with more chicken a few ducklings, I really want to focus on more organic grown foods which are rich in nutrients and really healthy for the family.
The weekend went by so fast, I can’t believe it’s time to create another weekly menu. It’s May already and the month has started off quite busy. Lots of planting to do if the weather stays nice and a birthday party to finish planning for our 7 year old who turns 8 at the end of the month. They grow up so fast, don’t they?
